One of my great joys is leading workshops and retreats. Many years of experience as a leader and facilitator have prepared me for work with all kinds of groups, focusing on the topic of your choice.
My home, Cedar Hollow, is available for retreats and workshops of up to twelve people.
SoulCollage® Workshops
As a trained SoulCollage® facilitator I am pleased to offer workshops, in your space or mine. SoulCollage® is a process of choosing images (usually from magazines) and creating 5” x 8” collages which express aspects of our inner selves. We “speak” from these images to bring to consciousness what is in our hearts and minds. SoulCollage® workshops are a fun way to reveal our creativity and an excellent way to build community in groups. I am happy to offer workshops in the Guelph, Orangeville, Georgetown, Milton, Fergus, Erin and Acton areas of Ontario.

Some of my other workshop topics include:
- Flicker to Fire: Fanning Your Creative Flame
Explore your creativity with a choice of three activities: SoulCollage®, mandala creation, and crafting of a spirit doll. There will be time for reflecting on the piece(s) you have created and for sharing with others.
- The Wisdom of Dreams: A Light into Your Soul
Share your dreams and let the light of their meanings illuminate your soul. Suggestions will be given on how to remember your dreams, how to understand them, and what to make of their strange plots and symbols.
- Finding the Feminine Divine: Can God Have a Female Face?
Experience the feminie face of God. We will ask ourselves what difference it makes to our spiritual lives when we think of God as female, and what difference it can make in the world.
- Holy Listening: Being Spiritual Companions to Each Other
Participate in the ancient practice of group holy listening. Listen deeply to the stories of others, discerning how God is acting in their lives. Receive the gift of telling your own story and being deeply heard.
- Conversations with God ... or Can I Really Pray While Doing the Dishes?
Learn about and practice various kinds of prayer, perhaps including meditation, lectio divina, body movement, active imagination, drawing, journaling, and many others. Spend time alone in prayer and in sharing with the group.
- Retreat Days on Bible Stories or Liturgical Seasons
Explore bible stories in prayer, movement, drawing and sharing. Examples include: the woman at the well, the prodigal son, the raising of Lazarus. Retreats can be designed around any story from the Christian or Hebrew scriptures, or any season of the church year, e.g. Advent, Lent, Epiphany, etc.
